All memory foam comes from using various heavy industrial chemicals.
Still many people choose to reduce their chemical exposure as a lifestyle choice and want to sleep on a mattress as chemical free as possible. This makes foam mattresses very harmful. Simply sleeping on it does not cause cancer.
The components used in producing memory foam could conceivable cause cancer in those people involved in the manufacturing of the faom if they are not given proper inhalation protection. Organic wool however is a soft natural material that not only can allow a mattress to pass the mandated flame test but adds a layer of airy cushioning to the top of your mattress. It is no wonder it is unfit for human use.
